This highly interactive 3-day programme will provide you with the knowledge, skills and experience to be the ‘go-to person’ for HOP integration in your organisation.
Course details
This 3-day workshop is preceeded by eLearning modules that will provide a baseline of knowledge to prepare you for the course.
You will gain a deeper understanding of how to use HOP to resolve problems ‘in the field’, but also as a key enabler to uncover valuable learning from everyday work. You will learn effective methods to co-create solutions, but also how to improve workplace safety, resilience, quality and culture, with greater effiencies as a by-product! This is achieved with numerous interactive activities, engaging discussions, and practical exercises that will provide the necessary tools to excel in HOP practices.
Our highly experienced facilitators will cover 5 modules:
1. How ro effectively integrate the 5 HOP principles in the workplace
2. A deeper understanding of Human Error, and methods to manage it
3. Methods and skills to improve workplace culture using HOP
4. The knowledge and application of key Error Reduction tools
5. Learning Teams facilitation day
Learning Outcomes
- Create ways to employ the HOP principles to improve safety, resilience, quality, employee engagement, workplace culture and generate efficiencies.
- Demonstrate how to identify error-likely situations and critical steps
- Apply error reduction tools to reduce consequence of error.
- Demonstrate ways to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Implement ways to increase collaboration with subject matter expertise in the workforce
- Adapt ways to 'fix the system' rather than ‘fix the worker’ when things go wrong
- Introduce ways to identify error-likely situations and critical steps in everyday work
- Implement and facilitate Learning Teams
- Implement and run a basic HOP Integration Plan
- Develop and deliver training sessions on the fundamentals of HOP
